It’s different than JUVÉDERM® XC and works on a different area of the face. JUVÉDERM® XC can smoothe out moderate to severe wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth, like parenthesis. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC, however, can add volume to the cheek area.
Radiesse® is made of calcium-based microspheres suspended in a natural gel. Radiesse® can be used in almost any treatable area and possibly lasts 12-18 months. Radiesse® stimulates your skin to make new collagen. It is currently one of the longest lasting fillers on the market.

No aspirin or ibuprofen two weeks prior to treatment can minimize bruising.
Apply an ice pack or cold compress to the injection sites after treatment to help reduce swelling.
It is normal to possibly feel “firmness” in your injection area for the first few days after treatment. Over time, the area can soften, possibly leaving you a soft, natural looking result.
Many patients can possibly return to their normal routine/activities quickly.
